So from 6pm till 5pm the next day I did a fast every week starting back in July.
Around February I came down with a series of flues and other colds, some lifting injuries, and running a camp, so didn't get back to fasting again till last week in March.
It is fun to see how effective the weekly fast was. Just a smooth straight line down with a small amount of tapering.
When I stopped fasting, the waist measurement didn't shoot up, but after a couple months it was starting curve back up again.
I am thinking once I hit my goal waist of 34 inches, a 24 hour fast once every 3-4 weeks will keep me right where I need to be.
It was nice to see how strongly correlated fasting and non fasting influenced waist (I keep with waist as it is a more stable measurement of body fat - I basically stopped measuring weight as it is just too noisy).
Eating heavy doesn't seem to undo a fast as I eat pretty healthy, but from what I seen in various blips is that high calorie drinks like some of the ones at Starbucks will reverse any fat loss quickly.
I am currently at 24% bf and will be at 15% by the time I hit my target (using Navy BF formula and a digital tape measurer).
